**REVIEW** MODELS ON TOP DANNY by S.L. SCOTT

DANNY BY S.L SCOTT IS NOW AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE

MOT_Danny_Cover (2)
Everything you’ve heard about modeling is true, and you haven’t heard the half of it. It’s glamorous. It’s sexy. And yes, the line between work and reality often blurs. We’re not just prototypes of perfection. Models have feelings and desires, too. We may be genetically gifted, but we’re still human. I’m only human. Yes, an extraordinary specimen that earns more in a day than most make in a year, but this eight pack didn’t create itself. I spend hours working on this body. The good looks just come natural. *Winks* Thanks, Mom and Dad. I’m Danny Weston, Supermodel. But one path was traded for another when I chose this career. Ten years later, I would trade my career to have it back. To have her back. Reese Carmichael is the one woman I would give it all up for, and the only one I can’t have. Yet.

Young beautiful pair of lovers hug and kiss
EXCERPT: As if reading my mind, she says, “I want to have sex, and I want you to make me forget about tonight. I want to be blissfully unaware of everything, except for right now, here with you.” I’m already smirking. How can I not when I have temptation in its truest form begging me to fuck her? It’s a hard job… like rock-hard, but I can handle it. “Sit up here.” I lift her up and place her on the counter. “I’ll be right back. Be ready for me.” After turning off the water, I slip out and go for a condom from my suitcase. When I return, she has her arms wrapped around her legs, giving me a peek of her sexy pussy. “Open for me.” She spreads her legs and waits for further instruction. “Put your hands behind you.” She does. After stroking myself while eyeing her incredible tits, I rip open the package and put the condom on. Her back is curved, pushing them forward, and I run my hand over her sensitive nipples. “You know how sexy you are?” “No,” she says, the reply jagged. “Tell me.” “I’ll show you, but brace yourself.” Just as she firms her palms against the counter, I slam forward, holding her by her hips as I thrust in and out several times, hard and fast. Her warmth draws my eyes to close, the fuse inside sparking to life. I won’t last, not with her, not like this. I’m getting close to release when she says, “Stop. Danny, stop.” My whole body is alert to the sound of her voice and I stop. Worried, I back up but keep my hands on her. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” Each breath sends her chest rising and falling to a rapid beating heart. “No, this feels good. It’s too much and not enough.” Her hands cover her tits, teasing herself and me. “I want to see you. I need to see your eyes on me, on mine.” Her pleasure is mine. Touching her cheek, I let my hand drift down and I smile. “I want to watch you come.” My fingers slip between her legs and I find that spot that makes her purr. “Keep your eyes on mine.” She looks up, pupils wide as she takes me in. Her hands are holding me to the spot, her back to the mirror. I build her up again, tightening the coil that I want to watch unravel. I run my thumb over her bottom lip, wetting it. Then I kiss her as small circles increase in intensity and her moans are swallowed. When she starts holding on to me, I lean back and our eyes meet again—passion, addiction, obsession reside in the clarity of her deep blues and I don’t want her just to physically feel how strongly I feel for her, but to see it. “I’ve always loved you.” The back of her head hits the mirror, her eyes close, and her mouth opens. “Oh God, Danny.” She shivers as the force of ecstasy takes over her body. “Look at me, baby.” I can see her struggle, but when her eyes open and meet mine, I don’t relent until I see her body coming down. Sitting upright, she kisses my neck and whispers, “I want you inside me.” Danny Teaser 4

  1d4f5b_1e5c4c5c676544ba84185cdb679fc0c0

New York Times and USA Bestselling Author, S. L. Scott, was always interested in the arts. She grew up painting, writing poetry and short stories, and wiling her days away lost in a good book and the movies. With a degree in Journalism, she continued her love of the written word by reading American authors like Salinger and Fitzgerald. She was intrigued by their flawed characters living in picture perfect worlds, but could still debate that the worlds those characters lived in were actually the flawed ones. This dynamic of leaving the reader invested in the words, inspired Scott to start writing journeys with emotion while injecting an underlying passion into her own stories. Living in the capital of Texas with her family, Scott loves traveling and avocados, beaches, and cooking with her kids. She's obsessed with epic romances and loves a good plot twist. She dreams of seeing one of her own books made into a movie one day as well as returning to Europe. Her favorite color is blue, but she likens it more toward the sky than the emotion. Her home is filled with the welcoming symbol of the pineapple and finds surfing a challenge though she likes to think she's a pro.

This is not the first book I have read by S.L. Scott. She has a great writing style for romance. Correction - sexy romance. I enjoyed this story. Both of the main characters were likeable and I found myself really hoping for a happy ending for them.

Even though Danny is a supermodel at the top of his game, I liked that the story focused on his internal struggles with love and loss. He has been heartbroken for 10 years since he lost his college sweetheart. He was ready to marry this girl right before it all crumbled...with no explanation. Now, a decade later he comes face to face with the one person in the world who can crack the perfect exterior he has become known for.

Through flashbacks, you slowly get to learn the story of Danny and Reese. And then as the reader you begin to decide if you are rooting for these two to have a second chance at love. Are these two fated to be together? Or maybe it is just about getting the closure needed to move on and have a happy future. Will things be the same for them if they try again? They are not the same people they were many years before.

No spoilers from me. But I will tell you that this was a very nice and sexy read

**REVIEW** VENGEFUL LOVE BLACK DIAMONDS by LAURA CARTER

The final, heart-pounding installment of the darkly suspenseful, sinfully sexy Vengeful Love series

I loved him with all of me.

It wasn't enough.

Gregory Ryans was everything I wanted, but he didn't trust me with the truth.

When I walked away from him, I should have known Gregory would follow. For a man like him, walking away—no matter the odds—is never an option.

He's come to offer me the deal of a lifetime: his heart. All his secrets. Him. Forever.

But at what cost?

The past refuses to stay buried. There are things about his family, dangerous things even Gregory didn't know.

This time, we'll have to fight together to save what we've built. To show our enemies that love like ours can't be destroyed.

I believe that.

Does he?

This book is approximately 100,000 words

Editor's Note: The Vengeful Love trilogy is best read in order: Vengeful Love, Vengeful Love: Deception, Vengeful Love: Black Diamonds.

I love these books, Laura Carter has a delicious writing style that capture’s your imagination and makes you scream for more. i have been spellbound by Gregory and Scarlett for the last month and was over the moon to get these arcs. Gregory and Scarlett have a lot thrown at them in these books and they make their way through as only true love can.
Gregory has a past with childhood abuse and domestic violence and he truly believes his soul is dark and he is not worthy of Scarlett. In truth he will do anything for her including protecting her.
Scarlett is sensible but for Gregory she throws caution to the wind and becomes a more carefree version of herself and this makes her more beautiful than she was before if that is possible.
The secondary characters are perfectly written with just enough detail to keep you interested in their story but not too much it over powers the main characters.

Enough of the good points my main gripe was simply too much sex, i skimmed pages and pages as it was becoming boring. Twice straight after each other with hardly any thing in between is boring, however the fabulous story pulled it back. Four bright shiny stars x

*REVIEW* WALKER by RIE WARREN

Title: Walker
Series: Bad Boys of X-Ops Book One
Author: Rie Warren
Genre: Erotic romance, humor, thriller, suspense, military, action/adventure
Release Date: April 5, 2016

From the world of bad boys of Retribution MC comes a deliciously dangerous, scandalously sexy, four part series!
Good girl versus Bad boy. Southern charm comes head-to-head with military grit. They say opposites attract. That’s an understatement where Justice and Lawless are concerned.
JUSTICE
Let’s face it. I’ve got a bad rep with the ladies. I’m a rough-talking, smooth-loving, international playboy—yeah right, whatever—and an X-Ops specialist. Sure, I’m hiding a secret or two. Who isn’t? That’s the least of my concerns when I’m called in to lead an infiltrate-and-retrieve mission.
I’ve got my head in the game—the one firmly attached to my shoulders. An American embassy overseas is under siege, and I’m expecting to rescue the ambassador and his daughter, a stereotypical geeky damsel in distress, Matilda Lawless.
Caught in the crossfire between explosive danger and wild desire, I’m in for the shock of my life.
TILLY
I’m not looking for any man to save me. I’m pretty damn capable of taking care of myself, thank you very much. I have a successful career and was practically born and bred on a gun range, even if I can’t bake a perfect biscuit to save my life like a good southern woman should.
But there’s just something about that hardcore operative called Justice. He’s haunted and lonely, and I know that pain inside and out. It doesn’t hurt one little bit he’s been blessed with more than his fair share of good looks, plus a body that would make any red-blooded woman drool.
Barricaded inside the embassy, under my father’s shrewd eyes, I intend to have Justice no matter how many times he says he’s not good enough. I see the way he watches me. With dirty, sexy, hungry lust.
Fighting is what Justice does. Now I need him to fight for me.
Warning: Graphic sex, graphic action, graphic language. Triple X caution.

JUST A LITTLE R&R, he said.”
I listened to Storm grumbling through the industrial sized headgear affixed to my ears, the rotors of the HH-60 Pave Hawk whump-whump-whumping overhead and on the tail.
“Exotic location was the phrase I used.” I chuckled low in my chest. “Didn’t mention nothin’ about R&R.”
“Thought I’d at least be able to get my jock off without gettin’ my fucking head shot off.” Storm aimed me a look from the pilot’s seat, one sinister black eyebrow raised.
“I’ll get you a hooker in Dubai after we get out of this mess.” Unbuckling, I reached over and tapped him on the cheek, ignoring the growl that parted his lips.
In the cargo area of the Sikorsky helicopter, I checked my parachute, the altimeter, the straps of my harness, and my pack filled with all sorts of goodies. I was unofficially Storm’s copilot, but fuck it. The man didn’t need me. He could handle the chopper on his own without the usual five-man crew. He’d have to, because I was getting ready to jump ship in high-altitude, high-opening, full-on fuck-this-shit terror.

Storm snorted, and his deep voice rumbled over the ear-gear. “Unlike you, I don’t need to pay for my pussy.”
“Not after that time you caught syphilis, right, Kemosabe?” Ignoring the curses Storm slung my way, I started zipping into my fancy flight suit, checking and double-checking straps, buckles, my bailout O2 line.
Storm stepped into the back with a dip of his head. “Remember what Blaize said about covert mission?”
“The fuck. I’m always covert.” I wrapped my arms protectively around the desert camo pack snuggled against my chest like it was a baby in a papoose, because I knew what was coming next.
“Hand over the flash bang, Walker.” He opened his palm.
“Goddammit. I feel naked without my C-4. You know that.”
“Gimme.” Storm advanced.
“Motherfucker.” I watched while he dexterously unzipped the side pocket of my pack, eagerly snatching the two M112 demolition blocks of putty-white plastic explosives wrapped in a Mylar bundle.
My eyes narrowed. “Blaize is a bitch.”
“Head bitch in charge.” He pleasantly agreed. “Blasting caps? Priming unit?”
I placed both in his hands, my own shaking like a meth head giving up the last of his stash.
Watching hungrily as Storm placed my precious bundles aside, I muttered, “Blaize is definitely a chick with a dick.” Tearing my gaze from my favorite weapons, I grinned. “Bitch chick with a dick you got the hots for.”
“I’d rather dip my dick into a vat of boiling oil.”
“Like when you got syphilis? That can be arranged.”
Storm cuffed me on the back of the head. He was just lucky I was trussed up like a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving . . . heh.
Blaize Carmichael was our new hardnosed higher-up at Operation T-Zone. Op T-Z was an organization quite possibly unsanctioned by the PTB of the USA, because they didn’t need to know what we did behind enemy lines, in the line of duty.
We weren’t military.
We weren’t from the CIA Viper Pit.
We weren’t Black Ops.
We were darker than that.
Unlike previous operations managers who’d given years of orders over secure lines and in scrambled codes, Blaize had come on the scene, giving it the personal touch with an up-front team meet-and-greet. Yeah, the woman’s touch in the form of intense head games more mind-fucking than any passive-aggressive wifey could come up with.
By the time she’d debriefed us with her high-heeled boot up our collective asses, read us the riot act, and nailed us to the wall over every single possible past mistake and mission mishap, I’d gone home and drunk a bottle of tequila.
Blaize did have nice legs though.
I rubbed my sleeve across the mask of my helmet then peered at Storm . . . then gawped at the cockpit. The empty fucking cockpit.
“Wait. Who the fuck’s flying this thing?” I asked.
“Autopilot.” He hooked a thumb over his shoulder.
“Autopilot?”
“Jerry-rigged autopilot.” His smug smile did not put me at ease.
“I do not want to know.”
“Probably not, but it involves a selfie stick and duct tape and—”
La la la . . . I can’t hear you.” Jesus Christ. I was gonna die tonight. I just knew it.

I must say having read the write up for this book I was extremely excited to get a hold of it and I can say whole heartedly I was not let down. I was slightly sceptical having researched the author to find that many of her books have follow on characters and interlocking storylines and whether I'd be confused by some of the returning characters having not previously read any more by this author. I found this was not the case and if anything the way in which the story and characters are depicted made me want to read all previous works, which is a testament to a terrific author. Following on from that I must say I totally loved the characterisation used, both Jade and Walker are amazingly well written characters with very believable and plausible emotional baggage, which only adds more depth to the story. I think the backstory of both characters engaged me more with them and I found myself wanting to know more about the characters which was received at good intervals throughout the story. I find sometimes these "on the run" storylines can seem extremely far fetched and overwritten but I found this had the perfect mix of action and dialogue which in tern allowed the story to flow very successful. Alongside this the peripheral characters introduced did a great job of engaging me for any stories to follow on from this one. I think the best compliment I can give both the author and the book is that I definitely will be looking out for further works and look at getting ahold of previous ones also.  I'd give this story a 4.5/5 it kept me whole heartedly engaged throughout, it wasn't too long winded but also didn't skip over aspects which needed further explanation. All in all an excellent read and highly recommended.
