COFFEE BREAK WITH C.J. FALLOWFIELD

1.       I wish I’d written J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” books. The creativity of them just blows my mind! People ask me how I’ve come up with so many stories in a short space of time, but everything I write is in the realms of possibility. To have the imagination to write that world, wow.

2.       My favourite book of mine, so far, is “The Temptress.” I just loved writing Luc’s character. Being half French I have an affinity to all things French, but throw in a dominant, dirty talking, sexually skilled, protective and caring alpha … yes, that was my favourite!

3.       The most fun to write was “For the Night” with escort Logan Steele. Coming up with different sexual scenarios for his clients was fun, especially the DVD’s I had to watch and the google searches I had to make, all in the name of research of course ;-)

4.       The hardest to write was “Infinite Love,” the last book in The Austin Series. I’d spent eight months writing six full length novels and the prequel novella, nearly 1,800 pages with the same characters. It was hard from a mental point of view, trying to remember all the loose ends that needed tying up to keep the readers happy. More than anything it was hard emotionally. After spending that long living in those characters heads and shaping them from naïve teens to mature adults, saying goodbye wrecked me. You become so immersed in your characters’ lives, I even remember checking my watch wondering what time my pizza was coming, because I’d placed an order in the book! I sobbed for over an hour when I wrote the last chapter and cried on and off all the next day knowing I was walking away from them, for a few years at least.

5.       I can answer this without even thinking about it! Gabriel Macht. I’d love him to play Robert Austin, the sexy forty something father of Gabe Austin, The Austin Series. I had him in mind when I wrote both Gabe and Robert. His smile just kills me! Excuse me for a moment while I slip into a happy daydream.

6.       If you’d asked me that question a few months ago, whilst I loved all three, I would have answered coffee. But since having my tonsils out in May, my taste buds are completely fried, very little tastes nice anymore, coconut water is the only thing I’ve found that I enjoy, so I’d drinking it by the gallon.

7.       We’re going to the Far East to Beijing to see the Terracotta Warriors, the Great Wall of China, the Three Gorges Dam and to relax as we sail the Yangtze river. After soaking up all of that culture, we’ll head to Hong Kong, to shop ‘til we drop and enjoy the vibrant night life. It’s one of my favourite cities in the world.

8.       My absolute favourite book boyfriend has to be Gideon Cross – although I’ve only read books one to three so far. I was late to the erotic romance party, only reading Fifty Shades in December 2012. While I didn’t fall in love with Christian, I fell in love with the genre and started devouring steamy reads. Meeting Gideon was an eye opener. A strong, dominant alpha with a hidden soft chewy centre when it came to the woman he loved. That’s the model I wanted for all of my heroes, as well as for myself.

9.      The last thing i ate was plain spaghetti tossed in a little bit of butter, with tonnes of cracked black pepper, washed down with coconut water!

10.   From my characters I’d A) Marry the sexy and loaded Frenchman Luc Le Grand, B) Sleep with the skilled sexual master, escort Logan Steele, C) Commit treble homicide on the vile Chelsea from The Austin Series, and Camilla Domville and Daron Beck from the For the Night series.

COFFEE BREAK WITH LISA BILBREY

What book do you wish you had written?
That’s a tricky question, but I wish I had JK Rowling’s imagination. Her Harry Potter world is so amazing. The small things that you never realize mean something until you get to book five or six.

What's your favourite of your books?
Again, that’s a hard one because all of my books are special to me, but my ultimate favorite has to be Forbidden Awakenings. I knew going into it that it would be a book that people wouldn’t get because the love my characters share isn’t . . . typical, I guess. But I think that’s why I love it so much. In the end, after all the drama and tears and fears, it’s a love story.

Which of your books was the most fun to write?
I really enjoyed writing Angel’s Heart, because I was able to take these normal people and give them amazing powers.

Which of your books was the hardest to write?
None of my books has been really hard to write. My characters tend to speak a lot to me. I guess the hardest would be the one I’ve just finished. The second book in the Awakenings Series. Forgotten Awakenings was my NaNoWriMo project and it just never took off. But I’ve chiseled away at it and finally have it done.

Your book is being made into a movie, which star would you beg to make a cameo appearance?
Female would be Emma Stone, because I adore her. And the man would be Jeffery Dean Morgan, because . . . Well . . . He’s hot.

Coffee, tea or wine?
Unsweet Ice Tea. I drink way too much of it, but I gave up sodas a few months back, so tea is my only other drink besides water.

You are taking me on holiday, where are we going and why?
I’d take you to Hawaii so we can explore the land of Angel’s Heart.

Who is your favourite book boyfriend? (Not yours)
My book boyfriend, huh? I don’t know that I really have just one, but I do love Sam from Lindsey Gray’s Firework.

What was the last thing you ate?
  A banana and some grapes.

Which of your characters would you
A, marry: Henry from Angel’s Heart: The Keeper
B, sleep with: Derek from Forbidden Awakeni

**COFFEE BREAK WITH SARAH MICHELLE LYNCH = FREE BOOK**

What book do you wish you had written ?

Jane Eyre. In part, because it has been voted the greatest book of all time by so many polls and could never be surpassed. It is a book that contains everything; romance, adventure, rags to riches, strife, sadness, everything. I remember reading it as a teenager and staying up until the wee hours to finish it. It’s probably why I am writing today - feeling that feeling a book gives you - and wondering if I could do that for people, too.

What's your favourite of your books ?

It is a really tough question. Some of my books I can barely go back to re-read because I love my books so much and live them vicariously, sometimes it’s hard to re-read those sharp emotions. My fave has to be Angel Avenue and when I tell people this, they are stunned. Some of my other novels are big, beefy monsters but Angel Avenue is a true piece of my heart.

Which of your books was the most fun to write ?

I absolutely loved writing Unleash, Kayla Tate’s story. One) because she is totes badass, and two) because I wrote it as though I was living it in real-time with her, so I was on the journey with her, living every day wondering what the hell might happen next! I picked a pretty good feller for her to have fun with!

Which of your books was the hardest  to write ?

Unfurl, the middle book in my Sub Rosa trilogy. It was a gigantic leap of faith. Secrets come out that aren’t very nice and I had to hold back a lot so I could properly give my readers a final punch in the guts in Unleash. I think a lot of writers will tell you the middle book is always hardest because you have to consider what was done in the first, and what you’d also like to set up for the third. You have to make sure there’s enough for people’s interest to carry on with the series, too. I felt an unreal responsibility to Cai in this book because he was a man on the edge and rather than skip over his demons, I really went to town with the horrors of his mind. It meant neglecting some of the heat but it was a risk I took.

Your book is being made into a movie, which star would you beg to make a cameo appearance ?

Stanley Tucci. Just love him.

Coffee, tea or wine ?

Tea. I associate it with curling up in a big chair and pulling the pages open on a book.

You are taking me on holiday, where are we going and why?

I’m taking you to New York to eat the biggest pretzel you’ve ever had. Not to mention, taking in a few burlesque shows.

Who is your favourite book boyfriend ? (Not yours)

Heathcliff. He’s a dirty sod (in my mind!).

What was the last thing you ate ?

Carrot and coriander soup.

Which of your characters would you
A, marry
B, sleep with
C, murder

I’d marry Warrick from Angel Avenue.
I’d sleep with Cai Matthews.
I’d murder Leticia from my vampire serial, Fabien.

What's your favourite of your books ?
Rennillia bk1 will always be my favorite because it was the first one. She's my first book love.

I'd have to say Charlotte from my Marked Heart novels. I genuinely loved her character and putting her and Auggie together was so much fun for me, even when it wasn't for them.

Which of your books was the hardest  to write ?
Life with HIM, a companion novelette to The Rennillia Series. As short a book as it was, a few times I didn't think I could keep going. The subject matter was rough on me and it was emotionally draining to put it all down.

Gerard Butler!

Coffee, tea or wine ?
COFFEE.

COFFEE BREAK WITH ELIAS RAVEN

What book do you wish you had written ?

I had to think about this for a minute. More like books then book. One of my favorite authors of all time is Patricia A. McKillip
she wrote a series of books called the Riddle Master trilogy. I've read all three probably at least a dozen times.

What's your favorite of your books ?
The current one "Cain - Sins Of The Father". I've written two novels. This will be the first one that is published. I have hopes
to have the second one out sometime next year.

Which of your books was the most fun to write ?
The first one - "Falls Dance". I wrote it during a Nanowrimo event in one month and wrote it very stream of thought without
worrying about structure or anything. I just was writing on what images and characters came to me and let it fly.

Which of your books was the hardest  to write ?
This one, "Cain - Sins Of The Father."

Your book is being made into  a movie, which star would you beg to make a cameo appearance ?
Keanu Reeves or Christopher Walken.

Coffee, tea or wine ?
Coffee

You are taking me on holiday, where are we going and why ?
The orient express. Land in England, take the chunnel to France. Leave Paris and go all the way to Venice Italy.
As to the why, it is a bucket list vacation for me. The train cars date back to the 20's and the trip is like being
on a private cruise of Europe.. It's very very elegant.

What was the last thing you ate ?
Ham Sandwich.

Which of your character’s would you

A, marry - Genevieve.

B, sleep with - Genevieve.

C, murder - Qaylin
