I loved book 1 but this book and book 2 are just good books. I rate this a 4* as it is a good book , well written and it grabs me. i adore Julie's writing it just sits well with me.
i think I'm in love with our sexy strong hero Jackson (i picture him as James Deen in my head) and Syl has so many problems and she just copes and it makes me love her so much more as a flawed character.
The book starts with Syl wondering if Jackson will go to prison for killing Reed the man who molested Syl as a young girl. The book is about the journey these guys have, the two and fro of has he killed him and will go to prison. The emotions are beautifully written and the sex is perfectly written but i did find myself skipping some sex scenes as i felt "again "
