REVIEW BY ASH
So when I read Black Rain it felt a little disconnected and different from the Jettie books I have read before (all of them) but right from page one MidnightRain pulled me into the most gut wrenching, heart breaking, heart mending love story i have read in a while.
We needed the first book to set this story up, we needed to understand that part to enjoy this one.
This is not one love story, its not even two it is a whole bunch of love stories that happened to bring two people together and make a family for a special little girl.
Mikki, Blake, Janie and Pea!
When Mikki forces Blake to open up about her sister Janie, OMG the feels!! The love story that is told between Blake and Janie gutted me! And then when we learn where London got her name I was done! UGLY CRY!
I absolutely loved this story and reading it made me remember exactly why Jettie is one of my go to authors when I need a great story.
This is the story of how a family falls in love and it is beautiful!
I would recommend a binge read and having book one and two together.
5***** you made me cry, and laugh and cry, and fall in love stars!
Hey everybody. I’m Jettie. I live in Ohio where it is, freezing cold. Why do I love in Ohio? Some of my favorite things, besides writing are, friends, family, the beach, (any is fine.) Music, although my interest has changed after forty. I like the new stuff. Pink is my favorite and I am going to one of her concerts, (my birthday is September 16th) Just saying. I am addicted to Lucky Charms at the moment, but that could change. Last month it was almonds. I write whatever I feel, because that’s what makes me happy. I don’t want to be in that box where I can only write one genre. I’m too crazy and life’s too short for boxes. And that’s about it. Last words. You can’t hang out with negative people and live a positive life. Run from them!
